  1. after a time it just refueses to work. it becomes completly useless and a waste of time and space.

  2. About half the time I copy a movie there is a problem with the new disc. But the biggest problem with this is that I don’t always no until half-way into watching the film. What you get from this software is a crap-shoot, and you never know what the real outcome is going to be. I have tried different setting over the last 11 months, on several different burners and players, all with the same results. And forget about their inept and callous tech support staff in Asia.

Here’s the bottom line. If you want to buy a bunch of DVD’s and use them as drink coasters, this is the product for you. If you want useable copies of your DVD’s… forget it. Here are some of the bad copies you’ll get: The first chapter won’t play, but the rest work fine. The disc isn’t recognized by any DVD player. The audio is out of sync, either through all or only part of the movie. Cloner can’t break the encryption. Scenes are missing. And the list goes on and on…

  3. I consider anything that installs automatically a virus, so this should not be an exception. I wouldn’t have been so annoyed if I actually needed it installed on my machine. The fact that I just wanted to download the exe and give it to someone but could not find a way to do it (I ended up getting v7) is very frustrating. When a link that says “download” and I click on it I expect to do just that, not something that installs itself without my acknowledgment and provides no easy way to cancel such action.

  4. If your PC is moving slow then you install this. It will begin going slower. Why? Because it adds problems to your computer to motivate you to buy the pay version. Then the pay version comes along and removes the problems the free version installed.

  5. Has a lot of codecs, most of which you don’t need.
    Does not uninstall properly.
Looks just like a weak version of windows media player.

  6. Unfortunately, it starts up as a minimized program in the taskbar (I only want the temperature in the notification area, like Weatherbug). In order to only display the temp, you have to close the program, then reopen it… but half the time the window freezes and the program crashes. Also, you have to keep reselecting your station location from the “favorites” list in order to get the correct info. Also eats up about 12 MB memory.

  7. Useful for children only. Very poor quality, Does not work on all computers without . Features do not work reliably unless user has “computer admin privileges”.

  8. It takes up way too much memory – 1 instance of Adobe Reader can take up as much memory as, say, Opera with 50 tabs open. Compare that to, say, xpdf (only for Linux, sadly), which might take up 5MB on a bad day, but reads as well as Adobe.

  9. Once I downloaded the product and ran the scan, the product found over 770 ‘errors’ and fixed 5. No indication was given in advance what the download would involve. Now I’m stuck removing it, which as it tells me, is what causes the problems.

  10. FORGET support for this product, you will get none. Users in the forum are rude and not very bright. I thought I was speaking to a technician and asked that they give me a call and basically got told off. They said what do you want from a free product??

  11. Essential SVN add-in for Visual studio users. Exceptionally reliable, full featured, and FOSS.

  12. The scheduler never worked properly. The previously created full backups often were displayed as being “corrupted”. User-defined settings were often simply reset at seeming random.
Tech support never even responded to my most recent issue, and I have uninstalled this software. Which is a nightmare, considering the incompetent job their so-called “uninstaller” does, leaving hundreds of registry entries orphaned and others corrupted (tdrpman.sys is now a permanent driver whether you like it or not – if you try to disable it, you will not be able to boot your machine!).
Thanks for nothing, Acronis! I didn’t sign up to be a beta tester – and this package is not even good enough to be called “beta-test” level.
I give this 1 star because I cannot give it 0 stars!

  13. Advertises itself as “no limitations” free software for a beta version but in reality this is a 30 day trial of $400 software, NOT beta.

  14. Everything else. The downloader, the malware and bots that are packaged with this program. I am submitting an email to the maker of CPU-Z and tell that they should have users download the software directly from them and leave out the middle-man or CNet’s marekting/client based products to themselves or as stand-alones. Just totally inconsiderate and uacceptable.

  15. Sometime to manage partition sizes after a restore you need a diferent tool. there are some good free anyways but a more complete and integrated disk management would be nice.

  16. You can create new programs besides the ones that come with the software (and they are quite exhaustive), but the software will not save these new programs for some reason. Kind of a bummer.

  17. Dear IObit makers

This is the most useful, the most complete, the best all in one, and the greatest software I ever seen, so I would like you congratulate you, and all the makers of the Advanced SystemCare Ultimate for such a grate job, this is really a peace of art.unfortunately my English is insufficient to express myself properly,I just want to say that I appreciate it very very much, and I recommend it to all the internet users.unfortunately I am not rich, neither I have a credit card, so I’ve downloaded the free option for my PC, but as an appreciation, I would like to send you a gift, would you please send me a post box/post address so that I can send you at least a donation? many thanks, and good luck.

    greetings from Holland
    yours sincerely,

  18. I love this program and use it often. I like to stitch together newspaper articles about my grandson’s ball games so I can save them without having several portions to try and match up.

  19. I have to run BoostSpeed, Windows “Disk Cleanup” and McAfee “Maintain Computer” to clean everything — System Error files, System Restore files and so forth. Without cleaning those files, BoostSpeed leaves 12 to 20GB of useless files on my disk.

  20. Perhaps a longer list of download resources would be better, and more compatibility with Microsoft’s IE.
