O&O DiskRecovery 14.1 Build 145 serial keys

This utility thoroughly scans your computer for deleted or corrupted files, but the all-important restoration feature is completely disabled. The O&O DiskRecovery interface is well designed but complex. The list of file types is extensive, and the program is preset to search them all. This program completely scans a selected drive, finds lost and damaged files, and saves them to a folder viewable only with O&O DiskRecovery. Scan time depends on the capacity of your storage media. Until you register this application, scanning and saving are all it offers. The trial version cannot restore at all, while the registered Personal Edition is limited to restoring 100 files per session. Intermediate and advanced users won’t find this application hard to work with, but with its main function disabled, it’s hard to get a feel for its full capabilities.

  1. It has a confusing and inconsistent interface, it does not do what it was claimed to be capable of doing, is is buggy and inconsistent. The original version (circa 2005/2006) that I used for several years was reliable and easy to use. This is rubbish by comparison.

  2. A consistently unreliable product with each release fix some bugs but introducing lots of new ones. Their support is really poor. The latest is that they only provide 30 days of support for free. Email support tickets can take weeks to resolve.

  3. Too many programs, including a McAffee scanner and Adobe Air, both of which I didn’t ask for and I have no control over. Updater that runs constantly by default. Huge footprint on the drive. All I want to do is read an occasional PDF.

  4. I paid for my registration and didn’t receive an email about it. The money was taken out of my bank.

  5. not a con, my comp at work has word wich cannot open .abw so i have to make sure i save files as .doc.

  6. DON’T BUY THIS SOFTWARE !!!
IF YOU NEED TO EVER REINSTALL THIS SOFTWARE, THE SERIAL NUMBER WILL NOT WORK, AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NOT HELPFUL — THEY IGNORE REPEATED REQUEST FOR A NEW SERIAL NUMBER.

    DON’T BUY THIS SOFTWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. None that I can really think of, aside maybe from the fact that they update pretty regularly. It’s a good thing for the program, but just a bit of a hassle that I have to re-download the program every couple of days.

  8. Multiple Eraser versions produce a huge garbage file when you select to wipe all of the unused space on your system drives. That operation takes as much as 12 hours and often finishes in a error resulting in one huge multi-gigabyte trash file.

  9. The TBYB version is so limited you HAVE to get the full version to see any valid results.

  10. Well, every time you set the QuickStart tray icon to go away and not come back, it comes back again!

  11. I love this program. I use it to extract data from my gedcom file and put into MS Access file, where I run SQL. Really handy. Only downside is it doesn’t extract all fields. However, what it does download provides me with all the information I currently need.

  12. Can’t delete default folders (but can deleted included feeds except in the software folder) but most are catagories we all use anyway. This is a minor flaw for a free program that doesn’t require creating an account and having a web site track which feeds you’re reading. I would hardly call it an intrusion or abuse of privacy as other have. The email feature is built into the program (doesn’t use your default email reader) so there is no easy access to your address book. Hopefully this will be corrected in the future.

  13. Downloaded version would not fix problems without buying and did not allow me to buy on special offer advertised.
