You can also select text and background color and customize the font. Even so, the clock is not really attractive and looks rather old. The clock also comes with a calendar that can be moved all around the desktop and it is pretty customizable. However, just like the clock, it isn’t really attractive nor useful, since it lacks many other important features like reminders or alarms that could stand for a difference with the Windows clock, and would make the program worth a try. The only difference I found is the ability to copy the time and date of the clock to be used on another programs, but it is not a big deal since many text processor applications, like Word, come with this option. All in all, TClockEx full version free is a simple and old clock intended for old operating systems that certainly doesn’t deserve a try unless you use a very old computer.

TClockEx 1.4.2 free is a lightweight application which gives you the possibility of tweaking some options regarding the time/date display of Windows. Once installed, the app changes the format of the system clock. Thus, it shows the current date, day and time with seconds. Editing program options is possible through the Properties screen, via the context menu. Therefore, you can create a custom-made clock display by choosing code elements; these focus on sample and default formats, along with date and time elements (e.g. week number, day of year, timezone name). Other such elements involve system resources (e.g. show the available physical RAM or memory load), line positions and breaks, as well as hidden separators and literal text. But you can also build and apply user-defined elements.

Does TClockEx work with Windows 10?
No, the application is not compatible with Windows 10. Although it installs just fine and the executable files can be launched properly, it will give you an error after you double click the main exe file. It says that the program didn’t run in the allocated time frame and it continues to repeat that message then it stops. I’ve tried the compatibility mode as well, but it was impossible to actually succeed.

Can I make the clock show in a full screen mode, and/or use on my Windows 7 mobile?
The software doesn’t offer many permissions. I’ve tried to install it on a Windows 10 operating systems and the modules couldn’t load. You won’t have the possibility to install it on Windows 7 mobile as well since it doesn’t support that mobile platform. According to the Readme file, you can use it on Windows 9X, NT, and Windows 2000.
